Bible Study Discussion: So Many Marys!

Wednesday, May 22

7:00 PM; Burch Hall

Join Mother Kirstin Swanson for a Bible Study discussion of: So Many Marys!

The Gospels are full of women named Mary, and it can be hard to keep them all straight. Mary Magdalene and Mary of Bethany are two of the most important people in the Gospels. Join us for a look at their biblical stories, as we consider their role as disciples of Jesus, and examine recent evidence that Mary and Martha may not be who we have been taught they are.

We gather on Zoom for brief prayers as we await the hope of resurrection.

The Great Vigil of Easter, 7:30 p.m. (on Zoom and In-person)

This is the principal service of the Christian year!  We light and bless the new fire from which the Paschal Candle is lit, symbolizing the light of Christ, with the chanting of the Exsultet.  We renew our baptismal vows and proclaim the resurrection as we celebrate the first Eucharist of Easter.
